Our gang got 3 good bucks yesturday. Busted up 8 point, big 10 and good 9 point.
I saw 3 bucks chase a doe last night and the 6 point bred her after I shot the big guy. They practically ran him right over.

Yup, just an update on how our controlled hunt went, we ended up coming home empty handed! First time our group hasn't gotten anything in over 5 years!
The first day was the only eventful day for me. Saw 4 bucks but I just couldn't get a shot that I was happy with. I ended up letting them pass by hoping that they would come back later in the week but nothing! My cousin saw a buck and a doe 2 diffrent days. Missed them both ( far shots). Feel bad about my father. He saw absolutely nothing all week.
My dad and my cousin will be trying their luck with the bows. I'm a little more iffy about going for bow.
Really don't want to drive up to the farm set everything up and sit for just an hour, just to take everything back down and pack up. I'd rather make it a couple days or I just get to mentally exhausted. Also seems like alot of hassle to just get an hour sit out of it. I'd be taking more time to drive 1 way than I would be actually hunting. Just doesn't seem to worth it for me. Unless I can make somewhat of a trip out of it and stay up there for a couple days I'll go for bow.
