    Her guys,

    wondering if this is winter wheat and do you think deer scuffed up this stone? It's right on a well used deer trail.

    Thanks. Weird because it looks planted. Could be some kind of hay? Hunting this spot at dusk as there are a fair bit of tracks. Going into and out of this field.

    could be cover crop that the farmer planted. Not sure what it is called but it looks like grass but dies off in spring.. Could be that stuff.

    It could be Rye, I know a few farmers that plant that as their cover crop
