Kind of the wrong time of the year. Everyone taking place in the shotgun hunts would have bought all that was available, which was in short supply anyway. I had to switch brands as I couldn't find what I wanted and I started looking in March. We are already in short supply, trying to buy after the peak demand is going to be challenging. If you don't need them immediately, I'd keep shopping starting in the spring and all summer long. Stock up when you find what you want

Hornady were terrible in my 220. Good for 50y max.

I bought both accu tips and federal trophy copper in Barrie. I have like 10 boxes of each. He had lots more.
Hornadys didn't group in my 220 at all either.

Remington accutip is the one I wanted but even Remington factory has none. Tried to find Federal Trophy Copper again no one has them.
Found out both Accutip and Federal are owned by Vista Outdoor Inc. sent them emails but they don't answer
That's why I bought Hornady's at least I have some ammo
Any suggestions
Thanks for the comments

What is the takeaway from this thread?
Buy your ammo early and don't wait until the last minute... lol

My 870 20g loves the Hornady 2 3/4 sabots. I couldn’t get a group with Accutips. Cabelas add listed Hornady but out of stock on line. Don’t know if they have any at a store though…
