Hello! Unfortunately life got in the way to get a weekend to come up. But I’m currently here now checking the area out. Thought I’d come up scout for turkeys too but I haven’t seen a single bird anywhere, even on the drive.
I have a GSP he’s in training so I’m going to hunt this season here for sure. But I want to get familiar with the area. I was surprised to learn goose season is still open and many shots were going off while walking Zone B.
I plan on joining the club too.

Shouldn't be as there is sunday hunting there so no spring season for geese. Hope it was just rabbit hunters, just checked even rabbit is closed so time to call the MNRCanada Geese and Cackling Geese, combined |
In municipalities where Sunday gun hunting is not permitted by provincial regulations. Excluding any Sunday in these periods. If a municipality within a WMU allows Sunday hunting, the season is closed within that municipality. February 24 to March 2 |
8 (in WMUs 82, 84, 85 and 93) |
No limit |
rabbit........68, 69A, 70-95 September 25 to the last day of February Daily limits of 5 and possession limits of 15

Maybe not understanding the regs … or could be neighboring private. But where I was there was 100% shooting at geese off hydroline. There was an SUV you going spot to spot when I was first there.

Then yup should of called the MNR as the seasons closed. Nothing but poachers if they can't follow the regs.

It is confusing, but FFF is correct on this one.
