Mine just came on around 1:30 this afternoon. The Street behind us still out though. Don't worry FF they are finally catching up around here so won't be long. The back roads still had poles down yesterday.

We were very fortunate and only out for a little over 24 hours, but Peterborough and Lindsay are apparently still quite a mess. Not warm either at -5 last night….some people must be having some long cold dark nights …not everybody has a generator and/or woodstove…

Well good thing they dropped the carbon tax lol….fill the jerrycans for the genny. Stay safe fish.

Yeah we have gone through five 5gal so far ill be dipping into the next can shortly.

It was a joke for the price of gas it was 121 when I filled the car this morning now it's back up to 136 lol. Didn't save much as I still had over half a tank when I filled.

We are more than good for the circumstances we have heat we have hot water celebrated a birthday party Sunday protable lights for the Dewalt batteries.

I was is lindsay yesterday not a single st light had power up Kent.

Power has been out at my place since 12:30pm Saturday and I can't see it coming back on any time soon.
generator is rolling and woodstove is pumping out the heat so no worries at my place.

They were true to their word. They said power would be restored today around 6-6:30. Came back on at 5:10…. Hats off to those linemen….

Yeah ours came back on a few hours before before the estimated time yesterday. 2pm yesterday it came back on.

Someone we know had their lines ripped out from the house hydro came and cut the line at the rd and said your on your own and need to call an electrician yikes. We talked to someone else yesterday who had the same problem and cut it at the rd.


Others in the area have been pushed out till Friday before they get the power going as 3 poles came down on the rd behind them.

Gas dropped only 15 cents.
If the federal government actually dropped carbon tax we'd be paying about 0.98/litre at the pump....

I got power at 1:30pm yesterday
really surprised with all the damage around me. thanks to all the Hydro crews working around the clock to restore power
