    Default Float tube?

I just bought a New float tube off craigslist. Are they using them even in this cold?

Default I'm going down by boat right now.

I'm launcing at Humber Bay Park and I'm going to drive to Ontario Place. The wind is almost nonexistent so I should able to drive fast.

I caught mine Back in September in Promenade Park in Mississauga Cawthra/Lakeshore. Very nice place and lots of fish.

I went to Asbridges Bay on Sunday aftteenoon.Didn't get anything but sure was fun to get out and drive the boat. I might try the Promanade Park location after work one day this week. Thanks for the tip Porema.

In the 80's there was a "Hydro Run-Off" there, and huge rainbow trout were being caught too! Pike could be caught there in very shallow water with floating minnows. I was never brave enough to keep a pike for the table. I also caught monster carp at Centre Island in the 80's. Lots of various fish swim around Toronto's waterfront.
Both at East and west ends of the city you can catch Browns and Rainbows in Spring and Fall. Have fun and be safe!

By the way, are you allowed to drive your car directly into the Spit? Or do you have to park outside and walk in? Sounds like a nice place to fish.

You have to park and walk. Do not bring a lot of gear. Bring some spinner,s and floating minnow baits /xraps and a back pack. The walk the first time I did it last year was devastating carrying my gear to and from. Will never do that again.

Bonez: You right about the walk! I feel like it would be quicker to boat there from Ashbridges Bay.

Yup it doesn't look very long but when you get there and start walking and walking....it just keeps going and going. My calves were very tired last year from so much walking...lol Also want to try centre island this year and see if there are any around there.
