It's different for sure! I find it relaxing just being out on the water paddling around.

Yes it is. It is coated with a quick setting epoxy.

What weight of rod and leader setup are you throwing your poppers with? I've had some struggles throwing larger poppers on my 6wt.

I am using two rods, both are 9' 8wt's. I do not use bass tapered leaders, nor do I use tippets when I use my poppers. I do use a loop-to-loop connection right to my float line. I measure the length of my leaders by my arm span, and use mostly 8lb line. This is what works for me. What set up are you using?

I use a 6wt rod, with a bass weight fwd mainline, and have been experimenting with leaders and tippet combos (size and length). I picked up some furled leaders specifically tapered for bass poppers. I'm not sure my 6wt is ideal for the large poppers I've been trying to tie/use.

Thanks! Solid yellows, greens, and poppers with a bright bottom. I have tried them with and without rubber legs and had great results. Cheers!

Getting ready to start making some new poppers. This one is from a while ago. I didn't want to repost another thread relating to foam poppers, so I posted it here.
