Well from what it has been on Lake Nipissing, there has been a far bit of slush on the ice making things difficult. What water on the top of the ice should be frozen soon with the temps were are going to get this week.

Just watch the conditions when you get out. Be safe!

How are you travelling? I was there this weekend and the slush and water was terrible, but with a sled or jacked up 4x4 you'd be fine. Things should firm up by this weekend with the cold.

I'll be there tonight and will try to post the conditions tomorrow morning. Will be headed out of Idyll Tyme on my quad, hope to make it further than I did this past Sunday!

I was out there on Sunday on my long track sled getting bogged down a bit - I imagine you didn't get far with out tracks!!

Will be using a 4X4 side by side with 11" clearance! I am hoping that the cold temps. coming will tighten things up and will be good to go!

Ditto. Some slush right where we get on the lake thanks to the trucks, but off the path and further out its good. Sitting out here now, had no trouble getting out. Good luck!

What happened to the sleds? You shouldn't have too much trouble. A fair amount of snow over the last 48 hours but you should still be o.k. Stop by my hut if you are in the area. Staying at Sunbeam again?

    Can't wait!
