Finally made it out to Kemp Bay on Saturday, wouldn't mind hooking up with the gang for the M@G but did not work out, will try next time around. Anyway me and a buddy ended up hooking up with Hardwater and setup in 108 ft of water. It was a great day to be on the Ice but the bite was tough. Had a few lookers, some chasers no takers. After a few " pops" and a re- group, I decided to switch it up to a white tube. Sure enough the next mark on the screen at 50 ft was interested and didn't shy away. Almost 9 LB and it was a pay off.
