I have the Johnny Stewart 2 and I dont use it as much as my mouth call. I find once you get a yotes attention, the mouth call can be manipulated more to have a suspicious yote commit. For instance, last Sat I was showing a friend how I use a diaphragm call and within seconds a yote came running to us as we sat in the truck. It literally came right to our bumper before it took off! I will NEVER show anyone how to use a call without a gun in my hand again! LOL

Anyway, FoxPro makes an excellent product. I'm now a believer.

I guess I should start posting set up's and let myself be judged and critiqued.

LOL They will come! I read alot of good things about the fox pro and my guess is that you have to get used to how to work it. Listen to the guys who have one and have had luck using it. You'll get the hang of it and in no time you'll be the one answering the questions.

Good luck and happy environmentalismisting ... LOL

What brand truck was it? Maybe it was the truck that drew him.

You'll be fine, it is all about setting up in order to take the shot but it is ultimately up to the yote to commit. Many times they don't.

I had a "perfect" set up Monday a week ago where he had no choice(I thought) but to enter the opening(a 3 acre orchard). Anywhere he went I would see him and with a lake downwind, he couldn't get around me to the lake and even if he did, I could shoot safely that way. A "perfect setup."

I called, he came, I caught a glimpse of him but he wouldn't expose himself and leave the treeline. He hung around moving back and forth until the crows found him and begun fussing/harassing him, then he left without ever giving me a shot.

    Yep. Perfect setup alright............
