What gun are you shopping for this year?

I don't like a 270 for Moose Mike, but I think it is a great Deer gun. I think this is another north south thing. The guys down south think it is a great Moose gun also, but that is not the thinking in this area

I like mine for deer, I haven't had one walk away yet. What about your 7mm? It packs more punch than a .270, but the bullets aren't that much bigger. What do you use in Rainy River?

I am in the same boat as you and found mine today as well....should have it on Thursday.....17 hmr because I am tired of waiting for the new 17 WSM...I am after a hard to find one so moms the word for now!

Treated myself to a Sako A7 in 300 wsm. Got all summer to work on a handload and have it ready for moose season!

Nope...a bolt gun. As for the "scoundrel" part~if I decide to buy this and my better half finds-out, I think she'll be calling me much worse. The rifle I ordered in September just rolled in a week or so ago. .204 R
