I was wondering why this is news now, I thought Savage did their final production run back in 2011
They were still manufacturing them on special order but in the blued version only.
It appears now that they cannot keep up with orders for all their other firearms , and with producing only 6000 yearly of the smokeless ml's they found it to be not economical . That's their story .?????

They are a very fine ml. I don't care about future value of mine, I'll never sell it. One sweet front stuffer.

Believe half of what you see and nothing of what you hear, Savage is doing a great job marketing their products, nothing better than to convince your audience their is a shortage of something.

Just contacted Hummasons and they are out of the 5lb containers of 4759. Time to look for another source.
