Yup worth far too much to hang it on the wall and collect dust....I'd turn that puppy into as much cash as I could get for it.

I read somewhere he dropped that monster with an old Lee-Enfield .303. Does anyone know if this is true? I can't recall the source of my info. If it is true, that would be classic.

Here we go..... http://www.whitehorsestar.com/archiv...-world-record/
...an old British .303 with open sights. The marketing staffs for the latest and greatest rifles, optics, and ammo have gotta hate this.

I've got mixed feelings on that. I think if it were mine I'd be hard pressed to part with it. But right now it's the world record - and its value will go down quite a bit if someone shoots a better one. If you were going to sell, better sooner than later.

Like he said in the second article (after my post) he has no place to hang it and would like to see it hung where more people could see it and enjoy it....so he'll end up selling it to a company/business up in the Yukon for a gob of money.
If you ask me what am I going to do with it, my house is too small,” Naef said. “If it happens to be the world record, then I would like to have it somewhere where a lot of people could see it.”

Amazing animal, same firearm my grandpa bought my dad for his first big game hunt, same gun my dad handed down to me when I started
Open sites, dad still uses that gun.
