    I'd drop it down to 55lbs for punching paper...give enough weight to strengthen your muscles yet not too much, so you can work on your form.

    There are lots of different releases and styles to choose from. I see your in Sarnia so I would suggest you take a drive to london to the archers nook and try out different releases in the range in the store. When I bought my bow they let me try out all the different ones.

    I have heard nothing but good things about them. I need to get there some time. My buddy bought his first bow there 8yrs ago and still swears by them. Said they spent damn near half a day trying everything out.

    Haven't heard of those before Sitka...
    Does anyone use the thumb release, what are the differances from the trigger finger release?

    hoggie when using these releases the pull of the bow feels 30% easier being you are using your forearm and Hand great on cold weather days just use Mittens over the release ,Check web site out winna archery.com ,if I may also try out Grave Digger broad heads by nolimitedarchery

    Grave Digger they bleed out game fast for a fast kill

    It looks pretty neat, will consider it for sure. i have Rage 100gr broad heads. How long have you been using this release and which model do you use?
