Default Old Family Pics: My Hunting Heritage

I don't hunt (yet) but I come from a family that has lived off this land for generations. I recently got digital copies of some old family photos and included were ones of a successful deer hunt. I thought you guys would like them as well.

My great-great uncle and my great uncle

Who needs ATV's? Great grandfather with both my great uncles

My great grandfather was a game warden for the Long Point Bay Company and died on the job in the late 70's. Both my uncles are still alive and the youngest one, in the middle photo, lives in Dover and still hunts and fishes.

Neat picture into the past. No camo, game cameras, scoped magnum rifles. Just a pump shotgun that likely was all they owned and shot everything from groundhogs to deer and the odd tresspasser. Thanks for sharing LIR.

The wilderness is not a stadium where I satisfy my ambition to achieve, it is the cathedral where I worship.

Just curious. Who or what is the Long Point Bay Company?
