If everyone did what they were supposed to do, no problems. Charges laid, obviously problems. Good for them for checking.

I get really PO'd when people think that rules don't apply when they're ice fishing. WTF!
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

It's good to see, but if they are doing it by air instead of on a sled like they have in the past, no wonder why the budget is being used up so fast...Air time in a chopper is awful expensive...

If they're doing it from a sled, the people on the lake can hear, and see them from a long way off. Time enough to dump extra fish down the hole etc.

It is very unfortunate that there is people out there ignoring the laws. It would be nice to see more MNR on the heavily fished lakes that are having fish numbers on the decline. I know Nipissing has some bad pickerel numbers, but I never run into MNR out there so that means the bad guys are not too worried about seeing them. I have fished there for years and ran into them twice. A blitz's cost would probably be more than offset by the amount of fines they could dish out. Hopefully in time it would stop poachers from thinking I won't get caught.

No sympathy for poachers. They drive up in $40k pickups and ride in on $10k snowmachines with $3k worth of gear. What do they need these fish to feed the kids? Stupid greed, pay up.

That's not too terribly far off from what a Government budgeted Bell 146 /412 runs per hour. lol
