I am sure it has been asked 100 times but what are your guys favourite layouts. Looking to by my first one this year, and there seems to be alot to choose from.
Sometimes hunting is the only thing that makes sense.

I did the same poll in a few places, and I am ordering the goose buster XL (for the bigger guy in me) from Rogers Sporting Goods.

Rogers sporting goods does sell both, if they are the same, the Goosebuster is a heck of a lot cheaper option, Cabelas is selling it for over 300!

X2. I've been keeping an eye on out for that deal. I don't need another layout but I do need a snow cover. If I can get a blind with a snow cover for $170 I'll go that route any day.

I have a Tanglefree Landing Zone. Nice blind, reasonably priced. It's nothing fancy but it's well made and light weight. Aaron at Parr's Pro Outfitters carries them. Best price you'll find in Canada.

I have buddies with the Cableas and Gander Mountain (Guide Series) blinds. Both have a lot more padding in the backrest than the Tanglefree, both have waterproof bottoms and both are A LOT heavier than the Tanglefree. The Cabela's blind has the pin-less connections but they are a pain-in-the-. The guy who has one wrestles with it for 10 minutes every time he has to set it up.

I also have an Avery Powerhunter but that is sort of a different class of blind. Super light, super quick to set up, guys say easier to conceal but I'm not so sure about that one. I don't like the domed lid. I find I can't see a thing out of it but if you had to pack your gear in everywhere you hunt that would be the way to go.

I've heard lots of good things about the Roger's blinds and the price is right especially if you have access to a US shipping address. If their' blinds are anything like their waders it's a good product.

At the end of the day they all do the same thing. As long as you're getting something that is well made and easy to manage you'll be fine. If guys are saying stay away form a particular make/model then listen to them because they would have real world experience in the field and chances are the same thing will likely happen to you.

I wouldn't be at all surprised. They obviously have someone making them for them.
