Manufactured and assembled in eastern Ontario
The company on its website sells duck and goose calls — including one goose call dubbed The Goosefather — made from a tough plastic called Delrin or in acrylic, with prices ranging from $39.99 to $139.99.
The calls are manufactured in Kingston, Ont. and assembled at their head office near Perth, Ont.

With reactions like yours no wonder people don't want to go out and invest all there money in a new business in Canada.
I honestly don't get the hate. Ryan is a good friend of mine and i'm helping him with this anyway I can. I also have another good friend of mine starting a call company here in Canada in the near future but with reactions like this I have a feeling people are just going to run him down too. He has a goose and a maple leaf in his logo too, Does St Lawrence own that right.
Just be happy people, we now have some waterfowl companies popping up in our own Backyard. Canadian Waterfowlers Pro Shop (you should shop here first, lol) Parr's Pro, DPA, Canadian Waterfowl Supplies and now Capital Waterfowling. We have never had this many options as waterfowl hunters in Ontario. We need to start supporting places like this, spending our money in Canada and not complaining and dragging someone's name through the mud because they have a Goose in a Maple Leaf as there logo..
Just my 2 cents
I"m not complaining about a new waterfowl company in Canada and personally, I don't care what their logo is.
I don't hate Ryan, I don't even know him. I do question his business ethics though and would love to hear his explanation of the logo. But I'm sure that won't happen. The waterfowl world is a small one and anyone with the IQ of a duck can see what he is doing. Lots of people refer to him as Lyin Ryan.
Like I said previously, I can't imagine a lawsuit isn't in someone's future. What's Gryba making....several hundred grand a year??? I bet you see him part ways before too long. Seems to be a common occurrence with your good friend.
Is Ryan no longer affiliated with Fall Brawl or the guiding business???

there are only a handful of companies in the Call business that make everything 100% in house.

Fair enough.....but I don't think that is anyone's main point.

I do/am shopping at Canadian Waterfowl Supplies (great guy) and Distribution Pleinair (Great Guy), I agree that there is nothing better than to support Canadian business, but not based on sketchy manufacturing claims and stealing a great guy's logo, for Christ's sake, they couldn't think of anything else as a logo!!!!!!!!!

Took the words right out of my mouth. I really didn't want to get involved but you covered it for me, so thank you! I 100% whole heartedly buy from canadian waterfowl stores/companies if and where possible for my waterfowl gear which includes Distribution Plein Air, and Canadian Waterfowl Supplies etc. but it sure as hell won't include a company that states they are Canadian, both made and assembled when they blatantly are not!

Looks like they changed their logo and took out the Made in Canada references.

Have to respect that they heeded the feedback at least.....

Lyin Ryan is right. I booked a hunt and plans changed and he wasn't able to take my group at that time. We had already sent him our money and he said it would be mailed back. 6 months later he is still not replying to any messages!!!!!!! Very frustrating!!!! He is not trustworthy!!! Do not send him any money!!!!!
