The clothes you wear also when practicing should be the same as what you wear in the bush. This past winter being my first time coyote hunting due to the extra layers on I had to hold my gun a little differently to see the scope.

Thats true but not practical. I shoot year round, from -30 to +30. I shoot from a full parka with multi layers underneath to shorts and tee in the summer, and every temp in between.

Shooting at all is what is important, and most hunters dont do enough of it.
