"Calling" All Turkeys
Am at my folks place in Cornwall, and finally got my hands on my new slate call I had my dad grab for me from Gobble Stalker at the Carp show.
It's a beautiful piece and sounds amazing, "Birdseye Maple" slate over walnut.

Kevin sure does make beautiful calls. I bought a nice Cocobolo crystal over glass from him earlier this year.

The real joy of that call won't be realized until that cool crisp crack of dawn when it echos across the woodline and off in the distance a Tom responds. Only then will become the best call in your vest

That's almost too nice to hunt with! I'll tell ya what....I'll give you 2 buckets of chicken and a drive to the liquor store for it. What do say???

LOL the price of a bucket of chicken (KFC) for two, you could just buy a call.
