Have 2 pair of geese in the back yard pond, the one goose has been nesting on this pond for 5 yrs now ( gets close enough to house to see its leg band info with binoculars). Have seen lots of woodies, mallards and a pair of blue wing teal in and out of the ponds. Also a few pairs of geese already sitting on the back ponds possibly more that I don't see

Saw this to day at a job site...

Sorry couldn't get any closer... The fence was In my way.

I saw a goose nest on the shoulder of the 4 lane section of Hwy 7 west of Ottawa this week.

Have a goose neat beside my chicken coop.. Can try and get a pic.. But the goose is a little strung out.. And well.. Gets crazy when u get close.. I think the chickens are freaking her out..

I think I've seen the same one, right in the "V" of an off ramp? there was a goose nesting in the exact same spot last spring too, I guess she figured it worked out then, she'll try it out again this year!
