    Default I might have to be a hippocrete

    I went to the farm where I hunt deer,,,,,to put out some salt....the farmer told me that a coyote was carrying away a 40 lb. young lamb at 9;00 am in the morning 4 days ago,,,,,,,,,,,,he managed to chase it off and recover his lamb//////do I go and try to call it in and kill it,,,,,,,is the question?? it might be a female???
    I will go with general consensus of the gang on this web site.........I dont want to get shot down

    I would guess that if you were to shoot a coyote for the farmer it would give him a little bit of revenge feeling and probly give you a atta boy. Unfortunately it might be a mother tending her pups, that will have to be a personal choice of yours. I personally would have no problem helping the farmer protect his animals and lively hood.

    I would take it out personally. I guarantee the farmer wants it gone.

    I would shoot EVERY coyote if it was killing livestock no matter the time of the year.


    A mother that brings back livestock to her den teaches her pups that they are free game as well.

    I think it's your duty to help the farmer. if you kill one of the yotes the other might set up a den some where else saving the farmer from a lot of misery. Brent

    Just curious. Why would you feel like a hypocrite? This is about predator/pest destruction,pure and simple.
    If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

    The only good coyote is a dead coyote. Sure it sucks if she a mom with pups.. But we have WAY too many yotes as it is... Shoot em on site.
