I think there is more than enough to cut. The Liberals have added 300,000 to the PS over 10 years. The Ontario PS is almost as big as the Canadian Government PS.

Gw,
Corruption and back-room deals is where we are loosing massive amounts of money. Blaming the PS worker is a smokescreen. You don't see that from the outside looking in though.

That's what I thought too.... but I have never seen them as much as this spring at the local marina. They are checking every boat that is launching or returning.

Have you ever heard of Greece? Ask them what it's like living there now. That's us in a few more years of bloated liberal governments. Wake up!!

At the end of the day, even Ms Wynne is looking at areas she can trim PS.
Privatizing LCBO, Hydro One and another
Reducing govt agencies by 30%. You read that right, 30%..<<Her words, not mine
Funny only Hudak is being labelled the grim reaper

At the end of the day, the MNRs budget has been going in the wrong direction for years. Irrespective any other considerations.
Population growth, Urban sprawl, more and more strains on the resources.
Yet, the MNR has been been gutted thoughtout time. And that is definately one area, I doubt anyone and we can all agree shouldnt be trimmed any further, in fact, its past time that area get a little love.
/quick
Name the last administration that poured a lot of money into it

there seems to be money when they need it .. the lake ontario management unit spent over a million on a new boat last year and there were rivers this spring that had 6 officers night and day patrolling it during the spring trout opening. it seems to be money if you scream loud and long enough. if the mnr would stop outsourcing all its jobs and programs they could have more money
