Good is subjective. I've shopped at Trombley's for over 20 years (three locations). I enjoy going to the store and will continue to do so, but the selection doesn't, and can't compare to a big store. If I lived/worked in Orillia I'd do most of my shopping there.

Unfortunately their gun department could use a tune up. I've had a raincheck going on 3 months now.

was there a couple days ago. employee pricing made for a few deals, otherwise things are priced about the same as bps. it is smaller than bps and seemed to be a little more crowded in terms of layout. there were a few hundred people in the store and it seemed really packed. I will stay away until things die down a little. they already seem to be having some inventory issues - ran out of stock on a few things but I imagine they have a great supply chain managment system. the employees seemed way better than bps - hope that stays the same. always good to have choice.

They also do the price match thing, saved me a bundle tonight on a new fish finder.

After having been to the Cabelas in Dundee, MI numerous times, I'm worried that I'd be disappointed going to a smaller one like this.

2 years for a friend of mine. He gave up expecting a call back.

I am not a particular fan of BPS but given the choice, I will buy the rifle there and save enough to get two boxes of ammo!

Price matching means you can go to the (better) closer store, save gas and they will match the price...win win !!
