Additional Tags

Any idea when the tags come in the mail for the normal tag. I applied in 60 and just wondering when you get the seal, with or without the antlerless. One friend said he got is a long time ago another is like me heard nothing.

Side note I got my extra anything tag bow only in 85.

Does anyone have a link as to how many deer additional tags there are remaining for various wmu's?

I do not think the MNR gives out info that specific. The best you can do is log into the website and select additional deer seal. At that point there will be a list of hunt codes/WMUs with tags left. If there are no tags left for a specific WMU it will no longer appear on the list. If on the list there are still tags.

The MNR did give this info out for many years. Alas the last time they did this was 2011.Until then every year anyone could monitor daily what is the status of the seals still remaining available on their website. I found this info was very handy..........yet they stopped it for whatever reason after 2011.......

Based on the experience my GF had last year, you are able to call the MNR and inquire as to the number of tags remaining. Tell them the hunt code and they should be able to look it up.

well online right off this morning and 0 additional. For 74b? Wasn't even listed but was in the mailout. About 10 by the time i got through by phone and just said none available. Did anyone get an extra in this area?
