It's getting closer !!!!!!!
We are now a few weeks away from hunting season. The nights are already cold and my dog is getting crazier. He just seems to know. I was walking him on leash last night and a cottontail skipped across the road in front of us. Well I guess I don't have to trim his nails anymore.......
I’m suspicious of people who don't like dogs, but I trust a dog who doesn't like a person.

Has too much time on their hands
I know, the itch is really bothering me too. Sail in Ottawa has 12 decoys for $39.99. Proud owner today...never hunted duck before, but will this year. All opening schedules are posted on wall in office and these cool mornings is not making it easier...lol

It's felt like fall here for the past month, 4-5 degrees in the morning. 12 days until goose opener, 21 till ducks!

I hear you, turkeyrookie. School starts two days after labour day and I plan on putting the kids on the bus and heading into the swamps and ponds in the back 40 for early season geese.

Teach a young person to hunt and fish, after all, someone taught you.
