LOL
It sounds like they knew who they were after. They already knew the truck they were driving.
Guys gotta read those regs carefully and regularly. They blew a whole season and maybe more cause they couldnt be bothered to either read and understand the entire regs or they just didnt care.
Bright side.... you have 3 brand new blinds... for this year anyways.
good luck next weekend!!

Too bad the opener was less than ideal. In seven days you should be alone again.
How is it one careless cigarette can cause a forest fire, but it takes a whole box of matches to light a campfire?

that's still not a bad morning, with a few ducks in the bag. you are lucky they had it figured out already, since that coulda been ugly for you. I had never really considered that whhile hunting public spots, you are taking a risk that someone has baited the area prior.
glad the CO's got out and either caught the offenders, or at the very least set some ignorant "hunters" straight.
looking forward to seeing your next reports!! and soon enough I will hopefully have my own to share.
good luck out there!!

Has too much time on their hands
Sounds like an eventful morning! I've had several openers with similar stories in the past, and for the most part avoid busy public areas altogether.
Glad to see you at least scratched out a few birds!

That's just it, all last year, no one on the pond but us. First ones in that morning, when we left, 9 trucks!
My dad figures the gun registry being gone has gotten more people back into hunting, I blame Duck Dynasty
