    you dont need a icense to SHOOT a gun. you need one to own and buy a gun. under superivision of a licensed owner it's perfectly legal..

    You are correct. But we aren't sometimes I carry.. Sometimes she carries.. Her ex bf... Doesn't like guns.. And won't sign off on the conjugal partner thing...so she is going to wait a year and then he won't matter.. Due to the 5 year thing...

    On Page 3 of "Application for a Possession and Acquisition Licence Under the Firearms Act (for Individuals Aged 18 and Over)" (form 5592), section F, "Information About Former Conjugal Partner (Refer to Information Sheet)" specifies the following:

    Provide information about your former conjugal partners. This includes any person, other than the person named in Box 18, with whom you have lived in a conjugal relationship within the last two (2) years. If you need more space, list the information on a separate sheet of paper.

    If it has been over two years, you are good to go.
