Has too much time on their hands
Where do you guys mount your action cams on your bows?
Going to be mounting it for my first bow hunt of the season. Where do you put yours? I was thinking either the head strap mount, or perhaps the sticky pad that affixes directly on the bow.. But where would I put it? Upper limb?
Btw, I own the GoPro knockoff - the SJ4000

The problem with the headstrap is the bow gets in the way and blocks the view. Best to get it out infront of the bow.
I use an actual mount, that attaches to the bow.

There is also a company called bow finger that makes some cool mounts

I wouldn't be using the adhesive pads directly on any part of my bow.

If your GoPro knockout uses the same mounts as GoPro, pick yourself up a GoPro Bikepost mount and clamp it around your stabilizer.

Do you not get vibration in the video as you fire the shot and the stabilizer does it thing? I would think clamping to that, would cause movement, and quite a bit.

I actually don't do it myself. But I know it's a convenient way to mount a GoPro. I actually use the bikepost mount bolted through the quiver mount hole on the top section of the riser, and have the GoPro pointed back at myself. I use a camera arm with video camera to take video of game. Then stitch the 2 videos together like this (doe I took last October).
