what is your idea of a perfect hunting knife ?
do you prefer a drop-point ?
a clip point , a trailing point , a Nessmuck ?
not to sure how to start a poll just curious what your opinions and tastes are
wood handle ?
synthetic ?
exotic ? sheep horn , elk stag , cape buffalo , bone ?
and length , overall.......

A perfect hunting knife would never get dull no matter how much bone I hit.... Since I don't own one of those I tend to use my 110 buck knife.. it holds an edge well...

Yup.
And "yup" again, because the board says "yup" isn't long enough.

If I was designing one.
4.5" elliptical blade, convex grind, wood or laminate scales, S30V.
2nd choice.
Same as first but a nessmuck.

I really like my Buck 110 with the upgraded S30V steel blade and BOS heat treatment.
