Default 1,000's of Rainbow Trout Fingerling & 10,000's Salmon Alevin

Visited both of the Lake Huron Fishing Club Trout & Salmon Hatcheries this week & took a little video, things are looking good for this years crop & our Brown Trout eggs should be here by the end of the month & a full house we'll have.

With all the trout and salmon that groups put in to the lakes, I wonder what do you expect them to eat. Seems that for years they have been telling us that the bait fish numbers are falling because of invasives.

Check the Derby boards the weights are going up so maybe they don't need food or the population is leveling off, there is definitely lots of shad & emerald shiners swimming around were I've been fishing.
