Double barrel!!
Took my dad's new gun, the 28g Stevens ddbl.
First shot, both barrels fired. Oh what a feeling!!!
Does this happen often. This is my first overunder!!

I would try it again and then return the gun to the store for repair/replacement...

Yup, take it back. I had a Ruger Red Label 12ga. that did that from new. Talk about rattling your fillings! It went back to the warranty center three times for that and a couple of other things in the first year. Finally made a deal for the dealer to take it back. I'd ask for a replacement.

Good. An O/U or SxS with a Single Selective Trigger should not double. Ever.
Don't let anyone (i.e. warranty centre) try to convince you that occasional doubling is acceptable in a SST equipped gun.

Brought the gun back. For $28 dollars more, I got a Browning Micro Midas BPS pump 28g.
Now this is going to work just fine!! Ramakko's great service!!!
