I do like old guns and all my guns have wood stocks.
One thing I noticed is prices vary a lot on new as well... my buddy bought a savage axis xo package at Cabelas for $339 plus $70 in rebates... same gun went for over $500 new in long lac... most gun stores seek the axis for $400-$450... people ask used $400...

I purchased an Accura V2 new this summer for 519.00. Gobles in London wanted 803.00 and Guns and Gadgets in Aylmer wanted 599.00. I bought it at Lake Huron Rod and Gun. I can't understand the need for the ridiculous markup from Gobles.

Dealers charge what the market will bear, some do not care to drive 150 plus km's to save $75 to 100, but that is up to each individual, it's their money.
