Wow, that boat looks so out of place. Temagami is on my bucket list of Ontario Lakes, almost made it there this past summer, but ended up on Restoule for a week.

Very nice. I just moved up to the area from outside N.Bay, so class is in and lots to learn about the area. Starting to concentrate on lakes between Rabbit Lake Rd and Temog just off #11. A neighbour is helping me out and is very generous with "spots" to go to and advise on hunting areas. This -40c weather crap hasn't helped though, once it passes through it's time to explore.

I saw a video on you tube last year w 2 punks and 1 older drunk dude all drinking beer in the boat, in lake temagami, setting out a gill nets and the drunk old guys said teaching the young guys to fish their traditional ways!!!!!?????
so they pulled up the nets later in the vid and the walleye and fish were rotten ferom being down their too long,
the they got back to shore and the bimbo gilrs were like OH my god u got us dinner!!!! and we r so borred w no cell reception!!!!!
so now their netting and poaching temagami just like nippissing!!!! so that lake will b dead soon!!!
and the dude that rents the house boats out their and has vids on you tube, says he catrches and shows him catching walleye in the slot and keeps them for dinner he says, and knows about the slot limit, I hv sent him messages saying ur poaching , and well.......I hv contacted the right ppl to look at this these issues now!!!!!!
and I love how the house boats park on shore for the night and leave al their garbage behind and the fire syill burning!!!! WTF
I hv caught up to a few of them of then reported them to the house boat operators, but if it the walleye poaching guy, he doesn't care a licks !!!!!!!
so sad!!!!!

temagami is largely a native area, especially bear island...

A long story about the feed store….Angus Lake Lodge was owned by friends of mine, that is where I was helping baiting bears for 3 years, as ALL had 125 sq/km of BMA. Great area to run the ATV and explore.

Thanks for the post. Leaving on the 22 to go up there for 4 days with 6 guys.
To be honest we sleep on lake temagami but never fish it. Way to many back country lakes to explore. Leave at 6 in the morning and come back at 6 at night. Always get a kick out of everyone in the other huts trying to figure out where we've been all day. Lol.
