I just checked, muzzleloaders and antique firearms are exempt from US export restrictions. Should be no issue bringing any muzzleloader purchased in the US into Canada as long as you have a valid PAL.

Flintlocks can be shipped to your door but I believe caplocks or other firearms have to go through a dealer. ????
I have some Deerhunters by Lyman for my boys. Both in flintlock. One of them bagged a big bear with his. A dam big bear! lol One shot and dead with 30 yds. They are a the bargain gun from Lyman but fully functional with modern open sights. 1:48 twist. I put peeps on ours. I also put peeps on the GPR and GPH. I have a TC Renegade which I must admiit that I do not shoot too often. Not because of how it works but more because I tend to use the flinters more often and time being what it is. lol
