If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

That's pretty up setting and gets my blood going seeing something like this!
a young guy who works for us got his pal in summer and goes to his cottage and shoots. I told him to pick up every shell and casing he fires

Has too much time on their hands
I went out Jan 01, no snow to pick brass off E7 in MB. When I got there, two huge dump trailer loads of roof shingle were dumped on range. Some bags of garbage were in the the mix and I thought I should rifle thru them to see if I could identfy someone. I called 311 and reported it. I have stopped serveral times and warned the people who were target shooting and told them, they will get the fine for litter as well as shooting. I have not shot at the three known ranges since the ban, but I do hunt the MB alot.

Actions like this have shutdown target shooting down on Safari rd as well. There is a phone number and contact info posted there to report target shooters.
Not 100% sure but a firearms violation could result, and that sounds like a federal offense. Play it safe, make sure you check with local authorities before target shooting anywhere! I would go as far as to save the contact info in my phone.

Sad, sad and more sad. It is always frustrating when a few spoil it for the many. I can't help but think that there could be another solution.
It may be viable to allow those that want to use the area properly to form some sort of neighbourhood watch and volunteers to help clean up the mess.

I remember hunting safari road and seeing a tonn of shells from shooters by the hydro lines.
i really hate to say it but my opinion is there should be no target shooting on crown land unless you are sighting in your rifle before hunting the next day on the property. Unless you live way up north where of course! There seems to be more harm being done these days from these target shooters who litter.
