Default ...While the wifes away :)

Sent the wife to the Dominican Republic for a week, so it's daddy daycare in the Smith household. A few weeks ago I upgraded my duck floaters to the Dakota X-Treme Mallards, since then, been eyeing up the X-Treme floater goose deekes.

Figured it's an even trade, few grand for her trip, few hundred for my deekes placed the order with Pat at Canadian Waterfowl Supplies Wednesday night, they shipped out Thursday morning and arrived at my door today. They are pretty sweet lookin, can't wait to get them assembled and rigged.

Next on the check list is the turkey deekes!

If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

A treat for a treat....seems quite fair to me.
How is it one careless cigarette can cause a forest fire, but it takes a whole box of matches to light a campfire?

Hard not to justify new decoys !! For the turkey decoys I'd recommend Dave Smith decoys DSD. I've got the breeder hen, 2 active hen, and the Jake. Alot of pennies but worth every one

Finally had some time to start assembling and rigging, and I think they look great. Rigged them with the Tanglefree line, crimps, and Higdon J-Anchors on stretch cord that I did the new Dakota X-Treme Mallards with just after Christmas.

As said, next was the Turkey Decoys, and I just placed the order with Pat @ Canadian Waterfowl Supplies this morning. Looking forward to Tuesdays arrival.
