https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=7quCl9SAy2c. After watching this I went with a trs 25 instead. Hated the red dot and use a 2x7 for my turkey and slug gun. Mossberg 930 with two barrels.

Ya I watched that video as well and thats what prompted me to ask the question of what others experiences are as well.....I read the comments and the video is a few yrs old and supposedly there was upgrades made to the optic. I have been using a truglo red dot on my turkey gun for a few yrs now and although I like it I broke the mounting screws on it the other night while installing it.....and I have always been curious about using a reflex sight and trying it for waterfowl as well.
what did you do with the trs 25???

Thanks for input jim....I have the same one as that I debated about using it for turkey this year as well...but I currently have it mounted on a target ruger mk II .22 pistol and prefer not to have to keep switching them out......also the reason why I thought I would explore th eoption of a reflex red dot sight, I would like to try it for turkey and waterfowl as well if possible, the the 1x28 trophy would not be a suitable choice for waterfowling IMO.

Trs 25 is a great product for a turkey gun only. A red dot is not for me prefer a scope. But if I was going to buy a red dot a trs 25 is the one I would buy. I just prefer a lower powered scope for a turkey gun. Prefer a 2x7 turned down to 2 for turkey. I just switch the barrels out for deer and put my rifled barrel on . If I was looking for a waterfolw/turkey red dot I would go Burris fast fire. Can look for a used one on cdn nutz .

exactly what i was thinkin......got a bit of time yet so may just cruise nutz until I find a burris......I was considering the bushnell first strike because I found a very good used one for 100 bucks where the burris is around 300.
did you sell the trs 25??

The First strike has a very large retical, I tried it on the shotgun, but didn't like the huge retical. A Burris speed bead might better suit you.

traded it for bushnell trophy 2x7 shotgun scope. Scope brand new is around 150 and cdn nutz member was looking for 110. So almost they same amount less taxes. Paid 110 plus tax for it.
