I do what this guy does but use about 1/2 lb alum and 2lb of salt for each coyote

Once it is almost dry I put it in a large sack/bag with a couple shoes and let it tumble in the dyer (non heat cycle) for a couple of hours then break the hide.... comes out pretty soft...

I put a few up for auction last year but they never sold.... I will probably put up a couple more for auction this year too and see what happens but don't expect much.....

I want to try something more serious than alum this year.
I will try solutan or monotan.
Prices are bad this year, loot at the trapping section or at auction results.
Thanks for the drier tip, may be I will try when the wife looks the other way...
