Valentines Day.
A manufactured day, that's "supposed" to be for two people to show their love and appreciation for each other. Why is it men end up buying roses and more, cleaning houses, doing this, that and the other...and yet women?? Question Terry, did you get a dozen roses at work?
And why is it,so many men seem to need a "special day" to remind them to do special things for their wives? Aren't there 364 other days?
************
A single truffle out of the blue on any other day trumps a bed of roses on VD. Any woman that doesn't get that, not gf/wife material.

All my wife is getting/got this year was not having to wear black...
She spent Friday night trying to keep me from sleeping on my back and drowning. I was sick in Oct and this is a relapse from that infection in my lungs...
We'll get the Valentines day thing done later.. By the way you know that it's ST VALENTINES day. Valentines was a Christian Priest that married people( Christians ) in Roman times, because the Roman state refused to allow Christians to marry..
Take the warning labels off. Darwin will solve the problem.

Oh I know that feeling. Terrible way to be. Almost scary to sleep yet not enough energy to stay awake.
How is it one careless cigarette can cause a forest fire, but it takes a whole box of matches to light a campfire?

Lol Johnny.
Ive never really understood it, will never understand it, other than a good reason to get a baby sitter and make it a "date night". Go out for a nice dinner together, do something together somewhere without kids (if married and have them) or not.
Do know one girl that got upset because she didn't get roses at work. When asked why she was upset, and when asked "don't I show you how much I love/appreciation you the rest of the year, without the expectation of a "day".
She answered.
Yes all the time, but all the other girls at work got roses and when they asked what I got…….
I told her to tell her co-workers you have a BF that loves and appreciations you the rest of the year when their husbands…maybe not.
That was that.
best Snowwalker.

And single
lol.
But true that, very true. She was "upset" because the other women at work got roses delivered and when they asked her what I got for her..And when I told her to tell her co-corkers well my BF shows it all the time..maybe theirs don't…She understood.
We always did something, and I always will, be it dinner, a show, whatever….But that other stuff?
Thats what the other 364 are for. As I said, a single truffle out of the blue trumps a bed of roses on VD.

We need a like button
Me and my gf both can't stand this big box holiday, we don't bother with it at all. We treat each other throughout the year, no need for a specific Day
