Sometimes friends have to venture out into nasty weather to help each other out. You did good Steve. Helping a guy get his MIL out of the house. Now if you find a way to keep her out he'd never be able to repay you.

Got up smiling as it was to be -8 and thought I could finally take the dogs out . Nope - -15 here.

I am loving the cold temps. Just wish it would include more snow. When April hits that is when the cold and snow can go away and warm up and bring me the thunderstorms

Man, I'm getting tired of hearing the furnace come on every 15 or 20 minutes! Good thing nat gas is 'reasonably' priced these days.

Oh my! Somebody has a sense of humor today.
Thunder storms could start tomorrow and I'd be all smiles. Earthmoving is a pain in the snow.
How is it one careless cigarette can cause a forest fire, but it takes a whole box of matches to light a campfire?

Only issue I have is the ice damming up on my eaves at home. The house next door casts a shadow on that section of my roof so the upper section melts in the sun and trickles down to the bottom and freezes. Was out last night boiling water and chipping away trying to relieve some of it. I came back in like a popsicle from the water and cold
Have all brick house so not real concerned with it getting into my walls but icicles started forming under the soffit so that was a sign that it was getting worse.
People call me crazy but I love this weather - have even been out at night running in it when it is -30 windchill.
