HOW CAN ANY BOW HUNTER MAKE A MISTAKE BETWEEN A BUCK OR A DOE!
1st identifying as a deer, then waiting for the correct time to draw the bow, then waiting for the correct shot angle,
and late season was probably over a bait in a leafless environment.
My thoughts only 2 things could have happened
1 He shot the deer knowing full well what it was ... or
2 It was so dark that proper identification could not ne made.

He plead guilty... of course it was poaching, he admitted he done wrong and didn't try to weasel out with some lame excuse
I was just wondering, with so many guys knowing so many guys on here, if anyone has heard the whole story...who turned him in ? It was the next day as a result of a 'Tip' on the snitch line.
