Aide to Tory leadership candidate arrested.
No mention of this, yet.... Rida Ali charged with five counts of criminal harassment. Worked as a chase producer at Sun News Network, was associate news editor at U of T. Varsity newspaper and was given the Conrad Black Award for Conservative Journalism by the Ontario PC Campus Association. Worked on Tory MPP Doug Holyday's campaign. Director of events for the Ontario PC Campus Association. Well, now they are turning on themselves.
Discuss!

Nope, not turning on themselves,at all. If the evidence is there, charges should be laid. Tell it to the Judge, pure and simple.
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

Throw the book at her. In fact throw the book at any politician that breaks laws.
I’m suspicious of people who don't like dogs, but I trust a dog who doesn't like a person.

Yep, she has to be a PC or she wouldn't be charged. No way a Liberal will be arrested under any evidence, that's been obvious and proven several times over.
Doesn't change my view however. Due process it and get rid of her, for inappropriate/illegal behavior, even if she is only an Aide. Crime is Crime.
In fact, use it as a Kindergarten show and tell for the OPP so they can find the hidden in plain view Liberal criminals.

Ok can anyone explain what she is said to have done. Chased people around as a reporter and tried to talk to them?
Take the warning labels off. Darwin will solve the problem.

I briefly skimmed articles about alleged harassing/threatening e mails sent to rival PC members.

Lets put things in perspective.
1) She's meat in the grinder pure and simple, canon fodder. As far as the Tories are concerned a "no-body". It's real easy to make an example of them and show that unlike Ms Wynne and the Liberal party, they do understand the notion of accountability. They score political points and it cost them, who exactly? Someone, no-one has ever heard of?
2) That said, when was the last time, junior or senior, any liberal threw someone under the bus (other than the Sudbury mess, but even that take with a grain of salt because he is being "wronged").
Even the junior aides were protected in the gas plant scandal as long as possible. And there remains no way there aren't people in the party today who if they had any morals couldn't step forward and name names.

I guess that's much worse than an outright commission of an offence by a LIBERAL.....corroborated by taped conversation ??????
