12 years military was the second youngest Canadian solder at the time ran the 70s Olympic torch from oromocto to Fredericton-2 years oil rigs- two years logger-4 years carnie-then 30 or so other various jobs from loading planes with food to cleaning the interior of oil refinery tanks and almost every type of construction as a helper. now an on road supervisor for municipal transit for 18 years. retire in 7 more years.
Never resent growing old, Many do not get the chance.

Retired at 55 from Bell with 38 years...worked in Louisana for the Katrina storm for 8 months..then to Fort Lauderdale for 3 months and all over Quebec and Ontario..Now I play in my heated garage..set up with TV and HEAT.....And then get rady for the hunting and fishing seasons..

I've been a teacher for 7 years. That last few I've been doing grade 8. Great career for fishing, not so much for hunting camps etc

Retired for over 20 years now - I do what I want when I want to - and if I don't want to - I don't do it - also am a master gardener, fisherman, hunter and firewood cutter - currently I specialize in passing on my experience and wealth of knowledge to my friends on OOD - I'm not a lawyer, doctor, priest or politician but I did stay at a Holiday Inn one night many years ago -

Has too much time on their hands
JBen my brother in law is a trader for a major bank in TO. Definitely a very unusual life with lots of stress. He is 54 years old and is ready to retire I would think within the next few years.
