Kidney Stones and Iced Tea
Recently I've read a number of articles that state drinking a lot of iced tea can give you kidney stones - a couple months ago my brother told me that he had kidney stones and the doctor asked him if he drank iced tea - my brother said that he does drink it quite a bit - there is evidence that the chemical oxalate which is in iced tea causes kidney stones to form - recently a guy in Arkansas almost died from kidney failure - he drank a lot of the stuff - for some reason they don't think hot tea has the same effect when you put some milk in the tea - also people usually don't drink the same amount of hot tea at one time -
So what do you drink when you are thirsty - water of course - but then I've never read of any bad effects from having a few beers either - soda and a lot of other soft drinks all have some bad effect on you - so unless you like having kidney stones you better drink iced tea very little - if at all -

I don't drink a whole lot of iced tea and six months ago tossed out the soda with the exception of the stuff in my whiskey.
Water for the most part sometimes with the flavored squirtie crap.
Beer on the weekends.
A coffee and cup of Chaga tea every morning.
How is it one careless cigarette can cause a forest fire, but it takes a whole box of matches to light a campfire?

I stick to good ol' Canadian on only two occassions--when I'm alone or with somebody.
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

My older brother drank lots of milk, about 2 liters a day, developed kidney stones , doctor told him it was due to all the milk he drank, the human adult according to his doctor, cannot process the milk and all that calcium, hence the development of his kidney stones [painfull].

last summer I visited a buddy at his cottage, i'll be honest had more then the normal few they must have been the ones that broken the bank because the next day I thought I going to die!! I kid you not I worst pain I ever had in my life. There was a doctor at a neighbor cottage he said it is equal to child birth for a woman. I can say it isn't pleasant for sure.

Milk.... never.
Other than a shot in my coffee.
