Default Greece: This is a scary twist

This is all the world needs right now. The lazy azzed welfare state country about to get sucked in by a expansionist loan shark like Putin. How long do you think before the Russians have a naval base in Greece as well as the Arctic? These are very scary times.

I’m suspicious of people who don't like dogs, but I trust a dog who doesn't like a person.

Politics (and dire need of money) makes strange bedfellows. Nothing but desperation.

The Greek government may be trying to scare the EU into forgiving all or part of the loans.

Read the history. This was resolved decades ago. This is politics for the Greek population. It has no merit on the international forum.

Sorry, not throwing you all to the wolves, just the idiots that can't seem to understand that Europe is not there to fund their laziness.

When you think about all the atrocities that are happening in the world right now and how many victims are packed into refugee camps it's hard to have sympathy for a country that feels entitled to perpetual handouts.

Seeing as how Ontario is only a hairs breadth away from the exact same fiscal scenario, maybe Kathleen could make the offer for a Russian naval base at Ontario Place instead of an upscale $50M resort.
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....
