    You bet Ak47 , I fish till the very last ice every year .. Still a solid three feet where I'm fishing easily get a couple weeks left , and I guaranty a pic of hard water in my may run post lol I think well be ok for the big lake for walley , but might have a hard time to do anny lakers on open water this may run with ought breaking some seriouse ice to get thought the bay lol

    I've started at 12 midnight every opener since 1986.... Plenty of fish caught in the dark!!
    Depends somewhat on the size of river but my little river (15ft across,6ft deep) is probably even more productive at night.
    When the sun comes up the Bows spook much easier...
    Ofcourse there are a few tricks at night!!!

    yes, the few tricks at night are ( sit by the fire, ) and make sure the beer is cold, used to do the midnight think a lot of years ago in Kincardine and never really had much luck , but then again we never moved from the 1 spot. Now the trick is to stay awake.

    I'll be up at 4:00 am tomorrow and hope the creek is running nice and the specks are biting.

    I don't care if we get fish tomorrow. I get to see my old buddies put some wear and tear on everything come home stinkin and get up and do it again for 5 days any fish is a bonus
