I heard they repeatedly yelled at the bear to surrender peacefully which he didn't so they shot him.
I’m suspicious of people who don't like dogs, but I trust a dog who doesn't like a person.

Alone in a tree....alone in a bus? I can't tell the difference. Can you tell the difference?
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

I believe , under the circumstances , the YRPS did the right thing. Would have been better with the 12 ga. as opposed to a Glock 40 cal.

The MNR wanted to draw attention to the chronic underfunding and they just did! the bear paid the price. My question is, if they aren't responding to dangerous situations what are they doing about reported poaching incidents? I think I know the answer. Dan O,

We always called it the Ministry of No Results.
That came about by the handing off of fisheries and wildlife management problems to senior staff.

I wonder how much money was spent (wasted) on the decision to rename it the MNRF? Aren't the forests part of our natural resources?

They aren't doing a damn thing about poaching so poach away. Didn't draw your moose tag? Not successful in the anterless draw? Don't worry shoot away, you won't get caught. :-)
