Heard today they are / already have installed cameras on the hov lanes to catch cheaters using them without the proper amount of passengers for the games with a 110 $ fine coming in the mail. I am sure this will be cost effective. Bend over boys and girls cause this is gonna be a doozy.

this is the "off topic forum". Won't find much fishing talk in here.

I worked in management on 3 different venues, but I'm contracted to silence. But if I could talk ...

No it's the contract I had with a French Company, but if not for that I would have some stories to tell. From where I sit. You will see litigation on some of these projects that will go,on for years.

I actually don't mind the women's World Cup. For me, it is a world event (almost every country has the opportunity to qualify). The Pan-am games simply are not. What these games will do for this city/province should prevent any talk of hosting the Olympics for at least 50 years.

Well, they aren't going to be recouping the cost of this by selling tickets so they have to come with some other kind of "revenue tool". Ticket the car owner but not the driver who actually committing the offence. It has a very photo radar-esque feel to it. I wonder how many drivers will realize it is 3 occupants for the 401 HOV lanes instead of 2 like the other ones.

All the HOV lanes will be 3 ^ for the games. lots of signs on the QEW from Brant into Mississauga.
