Post Bass fishing on Lake Erie

Just wanted to drop a quick report from Lake Erie on Sunday July 5th.

The bass were on fire!! We landed over 70 with the average size being 2.5 lbs. Some went up to just under 5 lbs! My friend of course landed the biggest two at 4.5 and 4.7 lbs.

The fish were in 3-6 feet of water and aggressive. They hit topwater, spinners, rapalas and tube jigs. Sometimes I would be reeling the rapala in at top speeds and they would slam it. Posted a few pics enjoy!

We were near Port Dover in case anyone was wondering

I could probably give you the GPS coordinates of where your pics were taken given what's in the background, lol. Congrats on a good day out.

Beauty fish! And quiet waters with no boat traffic is always a huge bonus!
